Call for Papers: Watertec Africa 2011
The aim of the Watertec Africa Conference is to provide a platform to not only introduce new ideas but also aid the development and growth of the industry.
The theme for 2011 will be ‘Maintenance of Infrastructure and Quality of Water in South Africa’. Supported by the Department of Water Affairs, the City of Joburg as well as the South African Association of Water Utilities amongst others, Watertec Africa is a key event on the water industry calendar.
All companies interested in participating in this forum are invited to submit papers for the following session topics:
• Funding of Dams, Pipelines
• Water Balance Funding
• Water Security
• Water Management
• Effective Water Governance
• Re-Use of Water
• Water Leakage Management
• Water Losses
• Water Tariffs
• Waste Water
• Financial Management
Deadline for abstract submission: 25th February 2011
Format: Abstracts may be no longer than 1 A4 page (Size 12 font) and need to include the presenter’s name, designation, company as well as any previous presenting experience and all contact information.
Should your submission be successful you will be notified by the programme committee via email by the 11th of March.
Please note we require all presentations in full by the 20th of May 2011.
