THE CONTINENT'S PREMIER ENERGY EVENT
The continuing success of the development of Cape Town and immediate surrounds as a repair and centralised maintenance hub servicing sub-Saharan Africa will be again highlighted and brought to the fore at the fifth Oil & Gas Africa 2012 Exhibition and Conference.
Exhibiting at Oil & Gas Africa 2012 offers you the opportunity to invest in the resurgence of the Western Cape as well as new emerging markets, strengthen your current investments, demonstrate your companies advanced technologies and expertise, increase your brand awareness and develop projects for the African markets with a highly selected audience gathered to attend the event from around the globe.
Why Oil & Gas Africa 2012?
Says John Thomson, Managing Director of co-organisers Exhibition Management Services: "While the continent's growing importance as a new source of Crude Oil is attracting an increasing number of Afro-centric oil industry meetings and conferences, our event, OIL & GAS AFRICA , now in its fourth year, is still the largest and only Engineering Supply Chain exhibition. Previous events have delivered over 12000 visitors attending from 34 countries. With the ongoing discoveries being made on Africa's West Coast Oilfields and increasing numbers of operators working there, we expect the attendance to increase significantly at our 2012 event.
Paul Runge, Conference Director and Managing Director of Africa Project Access, has the following to say: “This, the 5th OIL & GAS AFRICA Exhibition and Conference, is of particular significance in that it will provide an opportunity to interact with African national independent oil companies from Ghana, Nigeria and elsewhere. The rise of these private African oil companies in the upstream and midstream sectors is a new and interesting phenomenon providing an important new client base for suppliers.”
In addition, industry related associations and organizations are planning various complimentary technical workshops, seminars and briefings to supplement the main conference. All functions will culminate in the annual South African Oil & Gas Alliance (SAOGA) golf day. Admission to the OIL & GAS AFRICA 2012 Trade Exhibition is open to all South African businesses
Says Warwick Blyth, Executive Director, South African Oil & Gas Alliance: “We look forward to building on the solid foundation of the previous four shows as we continue with the development of the Western Cape & South African Oil, Gas & Energy Industries and strengthen its international ties. We confirm our support for this initiative and look forward to meeting many new international and regional participants and welcoming them to the Mother City of South Africa.”
