With this year’s event set to attract over 750 delegates to the various seminars, workshops as well as the main plenary, Oil & Gas Africa (formerly Oil Africa) retains its ranking as one of the premier events on the oil and gas calendar and Africa’s leading interface globally. Working in conjunction with their respective SA Business Chambers and Economic Counsellors from the Department of Trade and Industry the organisers have scheduled inbound buyer/delegate groups from various African oil producing countries.

The Oil & Gas Africa Steering Committee hereby calls for abstracts for the 2010 Oil & Gas Africa Main Plenary.

Theme: ‘Preparing for the Crest’

Abstracts should be able to form a part of one of the following sessions:

• Future Fuels
• Future Technologies
• Finance & Development
• Skills and Training
• Pipelines and Transportation

Deadline for Submission: 23 October 2009

Format and Terms:

1. Abstracts must have a title, list of authors and the text should be between 150-200 words. The presenting author should be clearly indicated.
2. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will be notified by the 30th of October to prepare full papers.
3. Authors must receive necessary clearance from the management of their organisation to participate.
4. Full Papers must be received by January 15th 2010.
