Project Finance Conference 2010

‘Financing Projects in Africa – Insights into New Modalities for Contractors, Consultants & Suppliers’

Michelangelo Hotel, Sandton, Johannesburg

17th & 18th August 2010

The modalities for financing projects in Sub-Saharan Africa have changed considerably over recent years. It is imperative that those involved in the implementation of these projects take cognisance of the changes and develop a sound understanding of the varying financial instruments.

The 3rd Annual Infrastructure Project Finance Conference will once again be taking place at the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg from the 17th-18th August 2010. Recent years have seen significant increases in the number and nature of the role-players involved in project development; public-private-partnerships in infrastructure, the increase in specialised infrastructure funds, renewed involvement of China and increasing Arab participation in African infrastructure projects are just some examples of important developments for our continent.

The Project Finance 2010 conference aims to provide conference delegates with insights into the changing world of project finance in Africa in order to practically assist them in moving project initiatives forward. Some of the Conference highlights include: African Regional Development Banks, South African Infrastructure Funding, Project Finance Experiential Sessions for Contractors & Suppliers, Export Credit Agencies, Case Study Presentations, BRIC Countries, Update on the North-South Corridor & its cross-sectorial implications as well as Sponsored networking events including a networking cocktail party.
